Rock The Pistes and Snowboxx are the two huge events going on up the mountain this week, but there is also a lot going on in Morzine and Les Gets as well.

Here's a quick look at what's coming up this week to see, do, drink, taste and enjoy..

Monday 20th March

The weather is due to clear up on Monday, so after skiing head to La Kinkerne at the bottom of the Prodains for live music apres ski between 16:00 - 20:00. At Rhodos it’s the weekly Open Mic night with a free shot or soft drink for all performers between 17:00 and 19:00.

At Le Cottage it’s Wax On Monday; if you spend ten euros on drinks you can have your snowboard or skis waxed for free. From Midnight Le Paradis have a Psytrance/Drum and Bass night until 05:00 and Opera have a “So Deep” night with music by Stephane S.

Head to La Pivotte Restaurant in Les Gets for their regular Monday night Savoyarde evenings.

Tuesday 21st March

Between 15:30 and 19:00, Le Cottage have Parisian funk band Achilles Family playing live. Then head over to l’Aubergade where six piece busker band CC Smugglers will be performing live from 18:00.

At Marmotte d’Or in Montriond, Electric Spank are playing from eight thirty PM, and there is a free shuttle service to and from Morzine all evening. Over at Cafe Chaud it’s the weekly Beer Pong tournament followed by the Retro Rentals Tash Bash at Paradis from midnight. In Les Gets, La Biskatcha restaurant have their Oyster tasting evening from 17:00 to 19:00.

Wednesday 22nd March

At La Kinkerne today there is a special two for the price of one deal on burgers all day. At Happy Hours there is also a special deal on burgers - a burger and a pint for ten euros between 14:00 and 15:00 before the weekly apres ski party between 15:00 and 19:00 featuring DJs, cocktails and a free shuttle service back to town.

Up at Nyon, Inferno have their weekly Mountain Meal party. In town there are special deals on Morzine Fried Chicken at Chez Shafty and Cafe Chaud host their weekly house night from 22:00 with Paradis rounding off the evening with their Gin and Juice night, playing all the best nineties R&B, garage and hip hop.

From 21st to 23rd March watch some of the best skiers in the world on the Pleney piste as they compete in the 64th Alpine Customs Officers European Championships.

Thursday 24th March

Squid Lips will be playing live at Le Cottage for apres ski from 16:00 and there is also live music at Beanies from 20:30. It’s also Thirsty Thursday at Le Paradis nightclub.

Head to La Kinkerne for wine & dine Thursdays where you can buy 2 meals and get a bottle of wine for just 5 euros.

Friday 25th March

There is more live music for après ski at La Kinerne from 16:00 and Paradis have Harley Maxwell playing “an eclectic mix of mash ups” from midnight with free entry before 01:00.

Saturday 26th March

At La Kinkerne there are special two for one deals on selected cocktails from 16:00 and Ronan Gravier hosts his weekly House night at Paradis from midnight.

Sunday 27th March

L’Aubergade will be serving up traditional Sunday roasts from midday all through the afternoon, and there is live music for apres ski at Happy Hours between 15:00 and 18:00.

At Cavern Bar Coco and the Butterfields will be playing live from 22:00. Both Coyote and Cafe Chaud have their weekly Drum and Bass nights starting from 22:00 continuing until 02:00. At Paradis it’s Sunday Night Fever playing disco, funk, soul and drum and bass.
