Ibiza DJs, live bands, parties up the mountain and parties in town, there is plenty to keep everyone entertained this coming week.

Here's our pick of the best things going on this week.


Monday

La Kinkerne have their regular live music apres event between 16:00 and 18:00 at the bottom of Prodains. Meanwhile back in Morzine Rhodos have their weekly Open Mic night between 17:00 and 19:00 for anyone who wants to try their hand at performing. There’s a free shot or soft drink for all performers. For a different kind of après try Le Cottage where they have their regular Wax:On Monday deal - spend over ten euros and get your skis or board waxed for free! Later in the night Paradis will be opening their doors on a Monday for the first time, with a “Dirty Elektro/Hardcore/Hardtek” night, free entry before 01:00 - pay 5 euros after.


Tuesday

La Kinkerne once again have their Tequila Tuesday special offers for apres ski. There is also live music at Le Cottage, also for apres ski. Marmotte D’Or in Montriond will also have live music from Russell Swallow and will be offering a free shuttle service to and from Morzine, which will certainly come in handy with all the snow falling at the moment. Back to Morzine and Cafe Chaud will have the beer pong tables set up, with the chance to win prizes from Stardust Beanies. If that’s not enough there is an “Art Attack” party at Paradis starting from midnight.


Wednesday

There’s always lots going on for apres ski on a Wednesday and this week is no exception. La Kinkerne are offering half price burgers for anyone looking to get a bit of ballast on board before the party starts. Happy Hours in Ardent also have a ten euro drink and burger deal between 14:00 and 15:00 before their big apres party starts, with local DJs and guests DJs, cheap drinks and “Scary Cocktail” between 15:00 and 19:00, with a free shuttle service to get you back to town. They are also hosting the Shredits event the “Happy Hours Home Run”, a race from the Prolays lift to Happy Hours. The race begins at 15:00,meeting at the bottom of the Prolays lift. The winner drinks for free for the rest of the day and there are no rules - pushing and shoving are encouraged!

Up on the Nyon side of Morzine, Inferno are throwing a huge party - the Bangorang Takeover between 14:00 and 17:00, featuring local DJs playing ghetto funk, breaks, DnB and house, fancy dress and drink and food promos. After a quick break to get out of your ski gear Cafe Chaud have their regular House night and from midnight Paradis have their Gin and Juice night playing the best 90s garage, hip hop and RnB.


Thursday

After a hectic Wednesday things are a bit calmer on Thursday with a wine and dine deal at La Kinkerne and live music for apres at Le Cottage.


Friday

It’s Friday and time for the weekend to start with a bang! Happy Hours are throwing what they hope will be their biggest party yet featuring Ibiza legends the Mambo Brothers and Marvin Humes. There will be festival sized production, fire breathers, and live tattoo artists, with free shuttles to get back to town in time for live music from 21:00 till 23:00 with The Box Of Hindrance playing at Beanies, along with a raffle with some great prizes to be won. From 16:30 there will also be an apres set at Le Tremplin from DJ and VJ duo The Architect and Belfour. UK Hip Hop pioneers Skitz and Rodney P will be at Cafe Chaud from 22:00, tickets are 7 euros in advance and this is sure to sell out.


Saturday

On Saturday there are two for one deals at La Kinkerne on certain cocktails. There is live music at Le Cottage from Jukebox Joel, who will also be playing throughout he week from 16:00 to 18:00 at The Cavern. Ronan Gravier has his weekly House night at Paradis from midnight with special guest DJs.


Sunday

Happy Hours will have live music on between 15:00 and 18:00 finishing just in time for the last bus home. Coyote and Cafe Chaud have Drum and Bass nights every Sunday as well as live music at Cavern from 22:00 and the night finishes off at Paradis for Sunday Night Fever.

Throughout the week Dixie Bar will have live Irish music from 18:30 and for all the rubgy fans out there, l’Aubergade will be showing all the Six Nations Rugby games.
