It’s a dilemma we know all too well. You check out of your chalet at 10 am but your lift to the airport doesn’t leave till the evening. Aside from dragging your luggage with you to the top of the slopes, or around town with you all day, you don’t have many options. It’s a hot, traumatic end to your otherwise relaxing holiday. However, worry no more.

On Saturdays the Parc des Dereches are offering to take your luggage of your hands for the day and store it securely whilst you enjoy the last hours of your holiday. Not only this, they’ll also provide you with towels and soap and entrance to the swimming pool in the afternoon. So you’ll go home clean and refreshed. The service costs 7 euros and that includes the cost of a swim.

You can access the Parc des Dereches by the Petite Train, which takes you straight to the front door, or by a special shuttle bus, which runs from the Pleney right to the pool. Line B runs 4 times a day on Saturday’s at 10am, 12pm, 15pm and 18pm. You can also use this service if you arrive before you can check into your accommodation. The parc is open between 9am and 12.30pm and then between 1.30pm and 7pm.

Gone are the days of lugging bags, skis and boots around. Thanks Parc des Dereches!
