Portes du Soleil ski-passes (Full area)

Most people of intermediate skiing ability and above would generally go for the full Portes du Soleil area ski pass, which incorporates 12 linked ski resorts and 650km of marked pistes. With this pass you can ski in both France (Morzine, Les Gets, Avoriaz, Montriond, Abondance, St Jean d’Aulps and Chatel) and Switzerland (Champery, Les Crozets, Champoussin, Morgins and Torgon) and enjoy the full extent of one of the world’s largest ski areas.

The Portes du Soleil pass is available from half a day to 30 days duration, or if you are a regular visitor to the area then a season pass is probably your best option. There is also an 5-day non-consecutive option available if you plan on making frequent shorter visits that don't quite justify a season pass.

Morzine/Les Gets ski-passes (Local area)

It is possible to buy a lift pass that covers just the Morzine / Les Gets ski areas and pistes and all Les Gets lifts. This passes will suit you if you are a complete or advancing beginner or if you prefer to ski at a more leisurely pace and don’t necessarily want to pound the pistes all day, every day. (Please note that this pass doesn't cover the Super Morzine, Ardent or Prodains lifts to Avoriaz).

With 49 lifts and 64 pistes (approx. 120km) you will find a good variety of intermediate pistes, as well as a few more challenging runs. If you buy a Morzine / Les Gets pass you can upgrade it to a full area PDS pass should you want to. To do this you must go, in person, to the lift pass offices you bought the pass from, with your receipt and pass. If you booked on line via the Morzine lift pass company, you can go to any Ski Pass Office in Morzine to upgrade and vice versa for Les Gets. You can upgrade only if you already have bought a minimum of a 5 day Morzine Les Gets ski pass, and then you can only use it on the last day of your ski days, or you can add on an extra day at the end. You pay -20% less than the cost of the Portes du Soleil pass.
