What's on in Morzine this week
Live music, apres ski parties & DJ's in Morzine this week
It's mid January and the bars and restaurants in Morzine and Les Gets are well into their stride for the season. Here's a quick roundup of what's going on this week.
To start the week off Rhodos will be hosting their Open Mic night between 17:00 and 19:00 with a free shot or soft drink for all performers. There is also live music between 16:00 and 20:00 at La Kinkerne. Meanwhile, at Le Cottage there will be the usual Wax On: Monday event, where you can have your board or skis waxed for you if you spend ten euros or more at the bar. There is also an acoustic showcase featuring a number of different artists at Cafe Chaud starting from 19:00.
On Tuesday it’s Tequila Tuesday at La Kinkerne with Mexican specials. In the evening there will be live music at Le Cottage from Jazz Hedonista. There will also be live music at Beanies between 21:00 and 23:00. It’s Beer Pong night at Cafe Chaud with prizes for the winning team and a seasonaire party will be taking place at Chez Roger. At Paradis later on will it's time for 'The Mexican Tash Bash' hosted by Retro Rentals.
On Wednesday there’s the weekly Happy Hours Apres Ski party at the bottom of Ardent with guest DJs, with drink deals on between 15:00 and 19:00 with a free shuttle service after the local buses finish. At La Kinkerne it’s half price burgers all day. In the evening there’s the weekly House night at Cafe Chaud followed by the Gin’n’Juice night at Paradis playing 90's Hip Hop, R’n’B and Garage with free entry before 01:00.
On Thursday La Kinkerne have their Wine and Dine deal, where a bottle of wine costs five euros when bought with two meals. At Le Cottage there is more live music from The Box Of Hindrance.
On Friday there is more live music at La Kinkerne between 16:00 and 20:00 and Beanies between 21:00 and 23:00.
On Saturday it’s two for one on selected cocktails at La Kinkerne. There is also live music from Jukebox Joel at Le Cottage and at Paradis local DJ Ronan Gravier will be hosting his weekly 'Pardon My French' House/Disco/Techno night with guest DJ's.
On Sunday there is live music at Happy Hours. It’s also the weekly Sunday Drum and Bass night at Cafe Chaud and the weekly Bass Sessions at Coyote followed by Sunday Night Fever at Paradis with Disco, Funk and House music.
All week L’Aubergade will have a cocktail special on with a different cocktail every day for the special price of six euros.
