What's on in Morzine this week 6th March 2017

La Kinkerne at the bottom of Prodains starts the week with their live music apres sessions, which this week features Hamish Jeffcott playing between 16:00 and 20:00. They also have special deals going on - two for one on Kinky Cocktails, ten percent off all sharing food platters and two for seven euros offers on selected beers.

At Rhodos there will also be live music between 17:00 and 19:00 with the weekly Open Mic night, including free shots or soft drink for all performers. If you need your skis or board waxed to make the most of all the fresh snow then head to Le Cottage for their Wax On Monday deal - free waxing for our board or skis if you spend more than ten euros between 16:00 to 18:00. You can also get a big bowl of nachos and a pint for twelve euros.

From 22:00 Cafe Chaud will be hosting their first “Battle Of The Bands” featuring two bands playing back to back, a six piece gypsy punk band Buffo’s Wake and Cafe Chaud regulars The Box Of Punk. There will also be a special deal on snakebite - six euros a pint, just to escalate things a bit more...

On Tuesday La Kinkerne will be starting the Apres Party with their Tequila Tuesday, with Mexican specials. There will also be live music at Le Cottage followed by more reggae from Alam starting at 20:30 at Marmotte d’Or in Montriond (with a free shuttle service there and back available from 20:00).

Cafe Chaud have Beer Pong tournaments from 22:00 and a Retro Rentals “Zombie Thriller” after party at Paradis from midnight with free entry before 01:00. Coyote bar will also be hosting the first night of the Ghetto Funk Alps Tour 2017 with WBBL, DJ Detta and Lady Eliza from 22:00 til late.

There are special two for one burger deals at La Kinkerne which runs every Wednesday. You can also grab a burger and a beer for ten euros at Happy Hours in Ardent on Wednesday afternoon. This deal is between 14:00 and 15:00 before the weekly apres ski madness starts. From 14:00 til 15:30 there will also be registration for the annual Shredits King Of The Mountain ski and snowboard race, the most chaotic race in town. The entry fee is two euros and the race begins at 16:30.

Up on the Nyon Plateau Inferno will be hosting the second show of the Ghetto Funk Alps Tour along with their weekly Mountain Meal. Following the Apres parties there will be live music at Beanies and then it’s the weekly house music night at Cafe Chaud from 22:00. Paradis then have their Gin and Juice night of 90s R&B, Garage and Hip Hop from midnight til 05:00.

There is more live music at La Kinkene from 16:00 and the Box Of Hinderance playing live at Beanies from 20:30. From 22:00 three time UK DMC scratch champion JFB will be performing at Cafe Chaud, with a screen set up to watch his skills closely. Tickets are five euros in advance and ten euros on the door. The party continues until 03:00.

There is live music at Happy Hours for Apres Ski, with more live music to follow at Cavern. Both Coyote and Cafe Chaud have their weekly Drum and Bass nights from 22:00 and Paradis have Sunday Night Fever from midnight.
