Linked to Avoriaz via the Super Morzine telecabine, this resort offers beginner skiers wide, tree-lined blue and red pistes. Carvers will love the great runs around Le Pleney, and powder enthusiasts will revel in the slopes above Nyon.

The lift pass company in Morzine has recently confirmed that the opening dates for the Pleney this coming winter will be December 14th 2019 to April 13th 2020 (snow conditions permitting). In addition, we have also got our hands on the latest ski pass rates for you, and this year, a one-day pass for Morzine-Les Gets will cost €43, while you can get two days for €80. For the entire Portes du Soleil area, pay €57 per day to €285 for six days, with options for longer duration tickets and whole season passes available.

Presale season passes are currently available at a massive discount for the Portes du Soleil. With the public price set at €958, an adult season package comes in at €774 if purchased by September 30th 2019, or €871 before November 15th.

Morzine and Les Gets are part of the Portes Du Soleil linked ski area and a great choice for families, groups and intermediate skiers and snowboarders to enjoy. To fully appreciate the skiing in Morzine, it's best to understand it in the context of the bigger picture.

The Portes du Soleil area is vast, with 426km of pistes spread across 13 different ski resorts in France and Switzerland. There are 286 pistes and 30 snowparks all accessed by around 200 ski lifts. In the whole ski area there are 34 green pistes, 119 blue pistes, 101 red pistes and 32 blacks (see the piste maps).
