After significant snowfall, the Morzine Les Gets ski area will open earlier than previously planned. The 16th - 22nd December will see 8 lifts and 9 pistes open for skiers. This is ahead of a full opening for the Morzine-Les Gets ski area on the 23rd December.

The Portes du Soleil ski area is experiencing the best December snow for some years so, following on from last week's limited early opening, the resort will be significantly expanding their offering this weekend. The following lifts and pistes are set to open;

Pistes
Gentiane, Piste 64, Fougère, Stade de Carry, Bruyère, Crocus, Ambresalle, Rhodos, Orchis

There will be a 25% discount on pass prices during this time. With price as follows;
