Dotty's Restaurant Review

Cosy Café Serving Great Homemade Comfort Food

featured in Restaurant reviews Author Megan Wallwork, Accounts Manager Updated

Dotty's is a relatively new business in Morzine and has been proven to be very popular with seasonaires and tourists alike. It is run by a very small and friendly team, who can't do enough for you.

The cosy interior is typical of a coffee shop back home and it has a little outside terrace for sunny days.

The menu is very British and is a great opportunity to get some home comforts, like nice carrot cake, bacon and sausage baps and baked potatoes. I went for the salad du jour which was a goats cheese salad with honey and walnuts. The salad was fresh, unlike many of the limp leaves that you seem to get in the alps, well presented and definitely not lacking on the cheese front. Altogether a delicious combination of flavours that hit the spot.

The service was quick and friendly too. No doubt this is how their staff have managed to build up a great rapport with their regulars.

Dotty’s also sell a number of tempting smoothies; so if the French cheese diet is taking its toll, this is the place to come and get some fresh fruit in you quickly.

This café is an awesome place to stop off for a yummy quick bite to eat, catch up with friends over coffee and cake or for seasonaires to indulge in some British classics.
