Blue Bird Lodge Chalet, Morzine

6 bedroom Chalet in Morzine. Sleeps 14

by Mountain Spaces featured in Chalets

This is a luxury alpine retreat situated in a great location just 300 metres from the central town square and the two major lift stations, Le Pleney and the Super Morzine.

The property has been carefully decorated in a contemporary rustic style which will have you drawing in your breath in appreciation from the moment you enter the chalet. It is a perfect mountain escape for those that love traditional Savoyard features such as exposed wood but want all the modern conveniences of a luxury holiday.

The huge open plan living area features two sitting areas with comfy leather sofas where you can stretch out and relax at the end of a busy day on the mountain around the cosy log fire.

No chalet holiday would of course be complete without a sauna and an outdoor hot tub where you can unwind in true alpine style, warming yourself to the bone and reviving any aching muscles at the same time. Naturally this exquisite chalet has both.

To keep everyone entertained there is satellite TV, WiFi access and a separate games room with board games, games consoles and table football. So not only will you be able to keep up with your favourite programmes, you will also be able to check your emails, keep up with friends at home and relax knowing there is plenty to keep the kids (little or big) happy.

The chalet has a large boot room for your ski gear so that you can keep it out of the way once you have skied directly back to the chalet, which is possible when skiing on the Morzine side of the mountain. It also includes boot warmers so that you don't have to squeeze into cold wet boots the next day!

The chalet is available for both winter ski holiday and summer mountain biking and walking holiday.

Visitor comments

  • "Stayed here for a few nights in June for a friend's wedding and was very impressed. The facilities are all of a very high quality and no detail has been overlooked. Upmarket but also very homely and comfortable. Location is great, very close to a lift for skiing in the winter." - Trip Advisor
  • "The chalet is brand new and has been designed with the skier in mind. It is beautifully decorated and the finish, fixtures and fittings are of high quality. The layout is superb. Our hosts Dean and Amber were both charming, helpful and good at their jobs. The food was delicious and overall we felt it was good value for money. The free flowing wine was very drinkable!" - Trip Advisor
  • "The lodge itself is like something from a magazine - on arrival there was champagne chilling and homemade cheese straws, candles lit and generally cosy, welcoming and chic ambience. The bedrooms are all gorgeous, comfy beds, nice bathrooms and lovely and warm. After a day on the slopes, coming home to the smell of home cooked food was amazing and after a soak in the hot tub, and hot shower a 7pm aperitif and canapés was delicious followed by an incredible 4 course meal with free flowing wine." - Trip Advisor
