This is a modern alpine apartment with fantastic views out over resort just a short 5 minute walk from the Super Morzine lift.

The bright, sunny interior has been decorated with chic furnishings to create a luxurious atmosphere. The open plan living and dining area has large French window through which you can enjoy the scenery from the comfort of the sofa or you can sit out on the balcony soaking up the rays with a drink. 

If you plan an evening in, then you can curl up with a DVD or watch your favourite programmes via the UK FreeSat service on the large 42" flat screen TV. Alternatively you can chillout with some music on the Bose iPod dock. 

The kitchen is fully fitted with every modern convenience so you can easily whip up your favourite dishes whilst on holiday if you are not dining in one of the fantastic local restaurants. The kitchen includes a full sized oven, fridge-freezer and the essential dishwasher.

You’ll need to book your own childcare, when staying here. There is a great choice of childcare options in Morzine from full-time nanny services to the odd night of babysitting. Cycle Hire

You’ll need to organise your own bike hire when staying here.  Things to consider are the type of bike you want to rent such as road, mountain, hard trail and/or an electric bike; and whether you’ll need helmets and protective clothing with your rental. You’re best off choosing a shop that is close to your accommodation for ease of access, and making it quicker to return the bike and pay at the end. You’ll need to book your own ski hire, when staying here. There are many choices for hiring equipment. Generally, you’re best off choosing somewhere close for ease of access, & less far to carry your kit, easier to make changes, and quicker to return and pay at the end. Instructors & Lessons

When staying here, you’ll need to book  your own ski or snowboard lessons. Tuition is strongly recommended for complete beginners and is always a good idea whatever your level to perfect your technique. Group lessons are a great way for children to learn with their peers whilst giving you some free time on the slopes. Groups are also a generally cheaper option for adults, however, with a private instructor you’ll have undivided attention and be able to progress at your own pace.

The town of Morzine is located to the east of Geneva, close to the French-Swiss border in the Haute Savoie region of the Rhone-Alpes. Geneva airport is just one hour and 15 minutes of driving from the town on the E25 motorway. The town is 1000m above sea level and surrounding ski resorts benefit from the micro-climate of Mont Blanc.

For special evenings enjoy up to eight courses of exquisite cuisine, or try one of the tasty and varied menus of fine French food, with hearty meats and fresh fish. There are several restaurants offering the traditional Savoie fare of fondue, raclette and tartiflette, or after a day in the mountains a plate of fish and chips might be the comfort food you're after. It's a toss up for the best coffee and baked treat in town with so many cafe's to choose from you are spoilt for choice.

Sights Nearby

There are many beautiful views to see if you can get into the mountains on foot or even by the lifts. Take the road along the Vallee de la Manche for ten minutes and find yourself at the Lac des Mines d'Or, set between rocky crags and grassy meadows. The thundering Cascade de Nyon is worth a look if rainfall has been high, or take a walk in the Dereche forest in the heart of Morzine itself.

Morzine is located centrally in the Portes du Soleil which allows for access to all of the activities available on both the Les Gets and Avoriaz sides. From skiing, snowboarding, ski touring, and snowshoeing in winter, to downhill and cross country biking, road cycling and hiking in summer, Morzine is a gateway to mountain sports. Opportunities to try thrilling activities like paragliding, canyoning and speed riding are also available, whilst children will delight in the vast array of activities on offer for them too, such as horse riding, swimming and tennis.

Head up to Avoriaz if you fancy a spot of golf whilst you're staying Morzine. The Avoriaz golf course spreads out across the plateau with magnificent panoramic views towards Morzine and the surrounding peaks. There are nine holes, sheltered from the elements by tall fir trees and bordered with wild flowers. Lessons are available from the golf academy and clubs are available for hire.

Lifts/Pistes Nearby

Morzine offers many ski options with access to Avoriaz or into Morzine resort. The modern Pleney lift is located centrally and takes just seven minutes to whisk you away to the Narnia of Morzine and Les Gets. Alternatively you can take the Nyon telecabine, which is a five minute drive from Morzine centre. The Super Morzine gondola takes skiers and snowboarders up the opposite side of the valley and gives you access to Avoriaz, Chatel and beyond with links into Switzerland.

Nightlife Nearby

At the height of the season in summer and winter you can expect the bars and clubs to be full of party seeking seasonaires and holiday makers. Between three clubs in town, nights out can last into the early hours of the morning. For a more civilised affair, check out the microbrewery, bars and sunny pub terraces. Most of the bars and clubs are located within walking distance of the town centre.
