The new ski season is fast approaching, with lifts officially open in Morzine on 20th December & the 22nd in Les Gets, so we thought we'd give you a quick run down of what's on the events calendar so far..

Early on in the season there's a lot going on over in Les Gets, with children's treasure hunts and workshops followed by a big fireworks display on the 22nd, a snow sculpture workshop and setting off lots of Chinese lanterns on Christmas day.

In January the Grand Odyssee husky sledding competition returns to Morzine, whilst over in Les Gets you can try out zorbing on snow, mountain laser quest and get involved with the colour ski event. An open entry slalom competition will be taking place on the Pleney with a party at the Tremplin afterwards.

In February, drum & bass fans shouldn't miss the huge Drop Zone party and then for the kids there's Carnival Day, where they can get involved in face painting & a variety of games and other entertainment. For the love birds out there why not book in for a romantic dinner up on Mont Chery for valentines day?

Rock the pistes is back in March with a huge International line up including Babyshambles & Klaxons.
