Avoriaz Snowzone app Now Available
A new App to keep you up to date in the snow park
Avoriaz receives hundreds of visitors a year who enjoy the unique attraction of its world-class snow parks, known collectively as the Avoriaz Snowzone. Now you can keep up-to-date with events, conditions, park features and more with their brand new mobile app for your phone!
The modern and innovative way to find out everything you need to know about Avoriaz Snowzone, the new mobile app is free to download on iOS and Android and comes with a whole host of features to optimise your experience out on the mountains of Avoriaz.
The Avoriaz Snowzone is the collective name given to the snowparks in Avoriaz, which include The Stash, La Chapelle, Kid’s Parkway, The Lil’ Stash, Arare and Superpipe. Every year, the dedicated Snowzone team work hard to bring visitors and locals of the Portes Du Soleil some of most unique and progressive snowparks in Europe, and the new app is just another step towards bringing you the ultimate snowpark destination.
The Burton Stash Park is the only park of it’s kind in Europe, and is famous for it’s giant rails and wall rides built of wood in the beautiful powder stash of the Les Lindarets forest. The La Chapelle often coined the ‘Sunset Park’ keeps the sun until late in the evening, and offers kickers and rails of varying difficulty for easy progression. The Arare offers some bigger features for pro skiers and snowboarders to enjoy, including black kickers and advanced rails and nearby the Superpipe gives experienced skiers and boarders a place to practice and enjoy the unique discipline of the halfpipe. For little ones, the Kid’s Parkway and Lil’ Stash are miniature playgrounds built to encourage young skiers and boarders to have fun and learn the ways of slopestyle. [More about snowparks]
The new app gives you access to specific weather information, webcams and information of what modules are available and open to use in the various snowparks. You can check in to let your friends know where you are, and take your own photos with the app to share your photos with Avoriaz Snowzone for them to repost and share with fellow skiers and snowboarders.
With plans to develop and evolve the app in the coming years, Avoriaz Snowzone is proving once again that they are always one step ahead of everyone else when it comes to the snow park experience.
