The annual competition run by Slopestyle Snowboard Shop returns for it’s third year this Wednesday.

The Rhythm Session is back, and it’s going to be packed with more energy, more tricks and more prizes than ever before. Sponsored by Volcom, Rome Snowboards and Skull Candy the event on Wednesday 11th March invites snowboarders to sign up to compete against each other in an all day jam session outside the back of the L’Aubergade hotel.

To take part in the competition boarders are required to sign up at the Slopestyle shop on the Route de la Plagne before the event, which kicks off at midday. Spectators and entrants can expect a BBQ, DJs and prize giveaways as part of the fun, fast-paced day that never fails to entertain. A team of park shapers will get to work the night before to create the park outside the back of the L’Aubergade, while competitors are invited to watch a Volcom snowboard film to get them hyped and ready for the competition the following day.

The Rhythm Session always brings a unique format, where there will be an imaginative skatepark-style setup of snow features encouraging the snowboarders to get creative and push their limits to grab the top spot. The final will take place around 16.00, giving you all day to enjoy the sunshine and great atmosphere before heading to Chez Roger in the evening for the after party and prize giving.

It’s a big event on the Morzine calendar, and not one to be missed!
