This weekend, July 11-14th, The Harley Days have returned to Morzine. A completely free event full of concerts, featuring Joan Ov Arc and Toto, free trials of the new latest Harley Davidson range and of course stalls of all themes rock and Harley which will be open from 9am – 6pm.

The weekend, which attracts crowds in their thousands, is set to be take over Morzine and temporarily replace the towns love of bikes on the mountain to bigger bikes with a motor!

The only adjustment to the town will be that the town centre of Morzine and the road from the roundabout, (in front of the Super Morzine Lift) to Rue Du Bourg, (the road that leads up to the Church just going out of Morzine), will closed for cars for the duration of the weekend. Due to this, the Morzine busses shall not be making stops in the town centre but shall still be stopping at the Pleney Lift bus stop and at the roundabout stop, (opposite the Super Morzine Lift). The Petit train that goes through the Morzine town from the Super Morzine Lift to the Pleney Lift will also not be running from the Friday through to the Tuesday.

There will also be free evening shuttles running every 20 – 30 minutes from the Mairie bus stop, (next to the roundabout in the centre of town, opposite the Super Morzine Lift), though to Prodain until 1.30am to assist people during the late night concerts.

If you are a Harley rider, than throughout the weekend there will be the opportunity to sign up in the centre of town for group rides and ride together the set out path with likeminded motor bike fans. You can choose which route you would like to join in with, from a 90km ride to 160km, by looking in the free official Harley Days guides from the Tourist Office in the town centre of Morzine to see which route appeals to you most before signing up.

The event will be close with a bang, (pun intended), with the Fireworks display in front of the Tourist Office in the centre of Morzine town on the Monday night, complete with bike shows throughout the day on the Tuesday until 16:30. You can sign up to the bike shows with the Tourism Office from Saturday.

With the majority of the businesses in Morzine getting involved with the Haley Days weekend in various ways, such as the nightclub Le Paradis opening an extra 2 nights on the Sunday and Monday, the town of Morzine is redecorated with stages, stands and Harley trucks and is ready to go for a weekend full of Harley Davidson enthusiasm.

Enjoy!
