The Brits was on in Tignes last week, and rising snowboarding star Maisie Hill swept up 5 medals while she was there... and she's only 14!

No stranger to the snowparks in Avoriaz, 14 year old Maisie has got a lot of tricks up her sleeves (literally) winning a number of under 16's titles, as well as the overall women's halfpipe competition, getting some great height & style out of the pipe.

Maisie has been living in Morzine for 4 winters now, having started out on the dry slopes of Gloucester before moving to France.

Her brother Matt told us "Each year she is just blowing our mind in her achievements and confidence on the slopes. Its true she will beat seasoned pro's down top to bottom. At the end of last year aged 13 she was chucking backflips off the red kickers in Chappelle Park! This year she's been really turning peoples heads, especially when they realise she's just 14...and a girl!"

"She will be in the World Rookie Tour again next year as a grom and in the European free ride tour. As for the future, I have every confidence she will represent Team GB in future Winter Olympics and X-Games. She's a proper snowboard legend in the making on the slopes! She just has to carry on dodging school work between major competitions for now..."

Here are the medals she'll be bringing home:

GOLD Womens Halfpipe - Overall title
GOLD under 16's Halfpipe
GOLD under 16s Boardercross
SILVER under 16's Slopestyle
SILVER under 16's Rail Jam

As for her hopes for the future, she's enjoying every moment on the mountain, snowboarding every weekend with the Avoriaz Penguins club, hitting the Stash, the park, the pipe and having the odd snowball fight!

We'd like to say a massive Congratulations to Maisie!.... Take a look at the video below when she represented GB earlier in the year at her first World Rookie Tour.

Maisie is already sponsored by Volkl Snowboards and Stardust Factory and with performances like last week in Tignes, who knows what's next?!
