First Acts For Transition Festival in Avoriaz Announced
Dizzee Rascal to headline opening night
The first acts to perform at the Transition Festival in Avoriaz have been announced.
The festival, which will run from the 13th to the 19th of December will be headlined by Dizzee Rascal at the opening party. Dizzee Rascal’s debut album 'Boy in da Corner' won the 2003 Mercury Music Prize, and follow up albums have been certified gold, with 'Tongue n Cheek' certified platinum. He will be performing this summer at The Big Festival.
Other acts, such as Krafty Kuts, Ben Pearce, Bondax and Huxley have also been announced. The full list of artists announced so far is available here, with more acts to be announced soon.
Packages for the festival start at only £99 for six days accommodation and a festival wristband, £269 for a six day lift pass, accommodation and festival wristband and £245 for accommodation, coach travel from the UK and a festival wristband.
