Being on a pedestrian ski pass doesn't stop Sarah loving her time in Morzine so far this winter.

Hi Sarah, How long have you been a Hotel Manager and how long have you been working with Alpine Elements?

I’ve been a Hotel Manager for three years but this is my first season for Alpine Elements.

What makes Morzine a special place to be for someone in your profession?

The view that I wake up to every morning.

What are the best bits about your job?

Making the best that can be of a guests holiday and of course my team.

And the worst bits?

Injured guests I absolutely hate not being able to fix them.

What are your personal and professional goals for the future?

To keep progressing within management and to travel some more in the inter season

What's your favourite piste or off-piste area & top tip to go skiing?

Unfortunately I'm injured so no boarding for me but some amazing views from the top at the Yeti and the top of the prodain express.

Where would send someone who was after that something 'something special' in resort, to stay, eat or drink?

Coup de Coeur is a beautiful wine bar in resort nice and cosy and intimate and to stay of course at Hotel Renardiere. Its quaint, rustic French with an open kitchen and fantastic atmosphere.

Your favourite place for lunch or dinner?

Alpine Lodge is just fantastic, the best steak I’ve had in a long time.

Where will we find the best coffee or hot chocolate?

Dottys 100% plus their banana milkshakes and fruit smoothies are the best.

What has been your best ever day in Morzine?

Everyday. What's to complain about when you live out here doing what you love?

What's the best thing about Morzine?

The fact I can go swimming, walking around, use my pedestrian pass and not have to worry too much about my injury.

And the worst?

Not being able to be enjoy the fabulous pistes my staff and guests talk about day in day out. (Jealousy)

Do you remember your first trip to Morzine?

This is my first time here in Morzine. I remember the day I arrived and seen my hotel for the first time. I was a very happy girl.

Favourite thing to do in resort when not skiing?

Taking pictures of the spectacular views, they are just breathtaking. One of the Hotel Assistants in who works with me in Hotel Renardiere Natasha took the most amazing picture on Thursday and it was just so so beautiful.

What do you do in the summer?

Hopefully lots of watersports and the job I love.

Which is your favourite shop in resort?

Axe boutique. I'm avoiding it on pay day as I need to save for interseason.

Where are we most likely to find you for après-ski?!

Haka and Tibetan and definitely over the next few weeks with the six nations.

..
