With such an extensive lift network in operation both summer and winter, it makes sense that there are a wide range of lift pass options available for the skier or boarder, mountain biker and pedestrian.
Opening & Closing Dates for Morzine Lifts - Winter
Snow cover permitting, the lifts in the Portes du Soleil ski area will be open from 12th December 2009 until 25th April 2010. The links from Morzine/Les Gets to the whole of the Portes du Soleil will be open from 19th December 2009 to 18th April 2009 and then the lifts in Avoriaz will remain open until 25th April.
It's worth noting that there is a 20% reduction on Morzine/Les Gets passes and a 15% reduction on Portes du Soleil passes from 3rd April 2010 until the end of the season!

Lift Pass Prices for Morzine & Portes du Soleil - Winter
There are three different passes to choose from; covering the whole of the Portes du Soleil, Morzine/Les Gets only or just Avoriaz, with the passes that cover the larger areas costing more. These passes are then priced according to age, with children and seniors benefiting from discounted rates. Opening & Closing Dates for Morzine - Summer
Every summer, the lifts will be open in Morzine & Les Gets from mid June to mid September and the entirety of the Portes du Soleil area will open up on late June until the end of August.

During the summer months, Morzine and the Portes du Soleil has a total of 24 lifts in operation, giving access to 650km of sign-posted mountain bike trails, 850km of hiking paths, 400 mountain chalets and 10 mountain lakes!
As in the winter, you can purchase tickets for a single trip, multiple journeys or even a season pass and don’t forget, if you have a Portes du Soleil season ski pass for the previous winter, you can claim 50% discount off the price of your summer lift ticket! Lift System in Morzine
Morzine and the Portes du Soleil are linked by a variety of different lifts. The lifts marked on the piste map using straight black lines are of four types; button tow/drag, chair, télécabine and téléphérique. They have the corresponding abbreviations:
TK - téléski (drag)
TS - télésiège (chair)
TC - télécabine (gondola)
TPH - téléphérique (cable car)
For télécabine think bubble car and for téléphérique think cable car. Anything prefixed/suffixed with “Express” means a 6 person modern fast chair lift.
