The Big Morzine Clean Up

Locals, expats and tourists are invited to join together to tidy up after the winter season. Families, including children, are expected to turn out on Saturday to give the area a sprucing up.

The Mairie is hoping that lots of people will turn up saying the state of our village is “everyone’s business”. A clean up in Avoiraz is expected to take place later in June, with Montriond holding a similar day on the 23rd May.

With the recent heavy rainfall there’ll be extra work to do in Morzine on Saturday with debris left on the roads and everywhere that extra bit muddy! If you fancy popping on your marigolds and taking part, head down to the hall next to the Mairie at 9am on Saturday. There’s a “thank you aperitif” for everyone who turns up.
