1950's Morzine Chalet Gets a Make Over for This Winter

Once owned by a member of the resistance, now with a new lease of life

When it was first built, Chalet Coeur de Morzine (heart of Morzine) was owned by a member of Morzine's resistance movement who, during World War II, helped to smuggle people across the border into Switzerland. Now the chalet is in the dutiful care of Simply Morzine, who are renovating it and bringing it up to date with a modern, sophisticated edge, ready for its first guests this winter.

Simply Morzine are working closely with the Morzinois family who own the chalet to renovate it to the highest specification possible and have taken a 'no expense spared' approach, adding features such as an indoor jacuzzi, sauna, underfloor heating and furnishing it with their standard Egyptian cotton sheets, luxury beds and fluffy towels.

The renovation will have taken a full 6 months by the time its completed in December and should make for a truly stand-out chalet in terms of its specs and its amazing location. It will be the fourth chalet in Simply Morzine's growing portfolio, and they sound very proud to have it on board.

The chalet is offered fully catered in the winter, with flexible catering options in the summer months. Visit the website for more information.
